Megan Fox announced as new face of Armani
Megan Fox to replace Victoria Beckham for Emporio Armani Underwear This week not only has Emporio Armani confirmed that footballer Christiano Ronaldo will replace David Beckham as the face (and body) of Emporio Armani underwear for men but this morning, hot on the heels of that news, it has also been announced that Actress Megan Fox will replace Victoria Beckham in the womens wear ads from 2010.
Fox, will also front Armani Jeans, in a campaign that will be shot by fashion photographers Mert and Marcus, in L.A this week. In related news, Giorgio Armani has been nominated for a position in the Italian senate by Gianni and Donatella Versace's brother Santo. Himself a member of Italy's lower parliament, Santo Versace has recommended Armani be granted life-long senator of Italy, a high accolade- usually awarded for great scientific, literary, social or artistic contribution to the country.
Santo says, 'Armani is the best candidate to receive the nominee for senator for life. The image of our country would’ve been very different without Armani's success in fashion.'
