YAIYA is a Swedish-Sámi artist, audiovisual creator, singer, songwriter, music producer and film director living in Stockholm, Sweden.
DISCOGRAPHY
In 2007 Yaiya was released on two albums in France. Imma Do It (Anyway) ft. Newkid was released on the compilations album ”Générations 88.2” and French rapper Lalcko featured her on the track Lumumba released on his debut album ”Diamants De Conflit”.
Sapphire Sky, a song Yaiya wrote and dedicated to her little sister Safir in 2007, won Swedish Radio P4’s talent show in 2008.
In 2016, Yaiya composed the song Juuret with the lyrics written by her grandfather and author Bengt Kostenius, the song also featured vocals by her little brother Orlando.
